The Postdoctoral Associate are trainees working in an apprenticeship capacity in preparation for a career as a scientific professional.
Job Duties
Plans, directs, and conducts specialized and advanced research experiments.
Evaluates and analyzes data.
Establishes new research protocols and procedures.
Summarizes research findings and publish results in research journals.
Maintainslaboratory operations.
Supervises research staff.
Minimum Qualifications
MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
No experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates should have Ph.D. in life sciences and motivation for high-quality research.
Experience with molecular/cellular biology, genetics or biochemistry is preferred.
Prior experience in the following areas is preferred: histopathology, transcriptome profiling, advanced in vivo imaging in animal models, gene therapy, and drug delivery.
Excellent (written and verbal) communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
